What will you do for a good summer?

Dublinneedssun Over the weekend, whilst visiting family, the conversation turned to summer barbecues. We had all heard the predictions of a good summer, but none of us really believed it.

It seems my family are not the only 'doubting Thomases', as recent research* with people in Eire, revealed.

Not surprisingly, nearly all of those interviewed (94%) believed a good summer would lift the mood of the nation, following the rainy summers of 2007 and 2008.

But it's not just the improved mood they are praying for, as nine out of ten claimed that the Irish look better when the sun shines.
I don't know about you, but I won't be praying for a good summer as I shall be making sure I have one by getting out of here.

But if you will be, one of the one in five, taking a UK holiday this summer, what will you be doing to ensure your Summer is not a washout?

*The research was conducted by Sandtex Exterior paint and www.IrelandDeservesSun.ie is dedicated to furthering the cause of those in chronic need of sunshine.
