When it comes to camping, cruising or carvanning, I am a holiday virgin. Its not that I have anything against these types of holiday, in fact it's the reverse, strange as it might seem I just haven't had the opportunity.
Wondering why I have mentioned those types of holidays, well it seems according to a new study by car maker Nissan, the caravan holiday is alive and well, as one in five Brits are planning a caravanning or camping holiday this year.
While I have no immediate plans for caravan holiday, as a researcher and blogger, I like to keep up to date with travel trends. Which is why, call me a travel nerd if you like, I had to share this video on planning a successful caravan holiday with you.
Giving us his expert advice, on all things caravan is Tim Shallcross of the Institute of Advanced Motorists; Tim shares everything from how to load, manoeuvring whilst towing, hitching and unhitching, all essential for both the budding and experienced caravanner.
So whether you will be towing a caravan for the first time, you fancy a refresher on how to tow safely, or you are a travel nerd like me, check out the video below.
