Holidaymakers urged to check EHIC with 4.5m to expire this year - Telegraph
Research from Gocompare, the travel insurance comparison site, found that 92pc of the single trip travel insurance policies it examined charged an excess on medical claims. But 90pc of those would waive the excess on claims made for medical care when an EHIC had been correctly used in a participating country.
