Comparethemarket.com to wave goodbye to meerkat character in dramatised Christmas Day ad

Comparethemarket.com is set to axe one of its meerkat characters on Christmas Day in a soap opera style ad to complement its Coronation Street sponsorship. The ad, which will air during Coronation Street and Downton Abbey, marks the next chapter for the popular meerkat campaign, which was introduced in 2009.
