10 things you should know about travel insurance before you book a holiday
Nearly half of Brits routinely travel abroad without insurance - with a third of 18-24 year olds admitting to never buying into holiday cover, according to TravelSupermarket. Out of the 30 most popular holiday destinations, the places where Brits are least likely to buy insurance tend to be the European cities closest to home - including Brussels, Paris and Milan, despite recent atrocities leading to cancelled flights and holidaymakers being left stranded abroad.
