Rio Olympics 2016: Ethiopia's Ayana smashes world record for 10,000m gold

Ethiopia's Almaz Ayana smashed the world record to win Olympic gold in the women's 10,000m in Rio. The 24-year-old obliterated the field to finish in 29:17:45 minutes, breaking the previous record by over 14 seconds as Britain's Jo Pavey finished well down in her fifth Olympics at age 42.
