This book was one of three that served as my inspiration for Diverse Traveller. I love the fact that there really is a story for every woman, everything from 'A Celt in London' to Building a school to Tanzania, and covers 60 countries.

The stories inspired me, because they are from women like me passionate about travelling and ready to share my travel experiences with others. The stories, though short, still manage to give the reader an insight into the places these 'diverse' travellers have been to. You will also learn the effect their travels had on their lives and the lives of others. At the end of each story you'll find information on where to learn more about the country and or the author.

I have read cover to cover, and every so often I take it off my bookshelf and dip into it picking a country at random. I recommend it to all.
