Calling women amateur photographers, worldwide, to share your travel photos

'Til now Diverse Traveller has been encouraging and inspiring women, new to travel writing, to share their stories; and the result, many diverse and inspiring travel tales.

However, there are many women travellers who are not into travel writing, and / or others like me, who take a gazillion photos when out and about only to leave them in numerous computer used as screen savers.

Over the year, I have had discussions with Diverse Travellers who have expressed their interest in a photo group. In response, the Diverse Travellers' Photo Group on Flickr has been created.

The idea

Each month there will be a theme, for April it's public transport from around the world. You can share up to three photos of any form of public transport.

All you have to is join Flickr and the Diverse Travellers' Photo Group on Flickr, then d post your photos. As in the case of the travel writing published on the Diverse Traveller website, the copyright of your photos remains with you; however once published on any Diverse Traveller website, we will not remove any photos. This is part of the short terms and conditions you will be asked to agree to before you join.

If you have a suggestion for a theme, please get in touch.

I am working on obtaining a relevant monthly prize. The idea is, in the near future, each month a panel of judges will select their favourite photo to be photo of the month. If you are interested in being on the Diverse Traveller photo judging panel please get in touch for more information.
