No time for preening. Too much to do!
Updated Diverse Traveller website , created and sent out the Diverse Traveller newsletter, now time for a cup of coffee and a bath. Then, with a deep breath I will commence my travel planning.
Where am I off to this time?
On Thursday I am off to Spain, joining other Anglos to 'teach' English to Spaniards with the company Pueblo Ingles. Pueblo Ingles literally means "English village". I found this company last year in my bid to travel the world in a stylishly cheap fashion. All I have to do is get to Madrid (thank you Easyjet) and pay for accommodation for the night I arrive and the night I leave. Pueblo Ingles takes care of the rest, they pay for transport from madrid to the hotel, my accommodation and my meals. Unfortunately, last year I caught seasonal flu and couldn't go, but this year apart from stress I am ready to talk.
A busman's holiday
OK it's not quite a free holiday. I will be earning my keep by engaging in English conversation, mainly one on one, with Spanish business people who have intermediate English. Spanish will not be allowed.
You can see from the above schedule that this will not be a holiday. Each day has many activities, from one to one conversations, to group work and evening social events. We have also been promised hill working.
Fortunately I am an early riser so I can catch up with life outside, before breakfast and during the late afternoon break, and explore the grounds of the Coto Del Valle.

It's time to get offline, and now that I have updated Diverse Traveller, grab a strong coffee, take a long lavender soak, then embark on my packing. I know it's only 10 days, but it's currently wet but warm, so I need versatile, comfortable, smart casual layers, easier to write than to pack. No rest for the wicked!
If you have done anything like Pueblo Ingles, please share your experiences, 'cos I am a little nervous.
