Travel dilemma: where to next?

I've just packed my material life into storage, leaving me with my favourite upright spinner suitcase, two laptops, funky brown boots (they make me feel sexy), my ipod, with over 40 days worth of songs and my absolutely fabulous quirky jewellery, souvenirs from around the world.

Yet, woe is me. I have a dilemma, brace yourself; it seems being mortgage, dependent, business contract and man-free, along with the kind of financial juggling that created the recession, leaves me free to go anywhere in the world, right now.

"Dilemma, are you mad?" I hear you scream over the inane chatter of the work colleagues you despise. "You have the perfect start to the New Year,"

True that!

I came back from the States, hoping, against blind hope, that the Consumer Insight contract market would have picked up. But no such luck. I'm left thinking perhaps I should go somewhere warmer and cheaper than the UK and learn new skills. But I am struggling with this decision, excited and scared, so I'm abdicating the decision to you.

Imagine yourself in my funky, brown boots, bobbing your head to the electic mix of tunes on my ipod, where would you go, why and what would you do once there? By the way, Hell is excluded, I've already been there and back.

This is a serious request, I promise I will consider all suggestions, harshly weeding out the ones that make no sense. Who knows yours might be the one that sets me off on a new adventure.

I've only been back in London a week, and already the rain and the grey sky is making everywhere look dirty and depressing. So hurry with your suggestions, I'm desperate for a laugh.
