I have embraced audio and eBooks only because the airlines have continued to reduce the weight of both carry-on and stored luggage. Gone are the days when I would spend as much time, if not more, carefully planning my travel reading library as planning my travel wardrobe.

And while I continue to add to my ebook and audiobook libraries, I refuse to give up the bliss of opening a physical book, bending back the cover, settling down to read, then keeping my place with one of my many creative bookmarks.

No matter what the naysayers say, physical books will be with us for years. And to remind us what it takes to produce, one, enjoy this short video documentary, shot, directed & edited by Glen Milner for The Telegraph. The video, called, The Birth of a Book shows how a book is created using traditional printing methods.
